am i going mad????
Why do i have to check things over and over again? i could lock my door at night and know i have then i will sit in bed wondering if i have locked it! and thats just one example of many, i had a baby 5 months ago and i have only been like this since i had my little girl and its getting worse,im driving my boyfriend up the wall.
any advice would be helpful,thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i would have a chat with your health visitor/doc and see what they think, your a new mum so your bound to be worring about things and your hormones are prob still all over the place or if you have a good friend you could confine in too pref one who has children and see waht they were like when they first became a new mum.

sounds like it could be OCD but you should speak to your Dr. OCD is much more common than people realise and it definitely doesnt mean you are mad though it can be very annoying. I used to work with a woman who has OCD and she said it started after she had her first child. some people feel they have to touch things a certain amount of times otherwise something bad will happen. but it is treatable. whether its stress or OCD speaking to your doctor should reassure you.
