And goodness knows what happened to my post.

You're on your way now!,

Actually...I understood it! 😊

Question Author

Yes Pasta, you would because just as daft as I am xx

I must be as batty as you 2 then because I also understood it!

Hi Lottie, yes I'm home now but was in for 2 weeks due to the fact I got a fever and then pneumonia!

I'm fine now though and have an appointment next month for a follow-up and to decide about having the other knee replaced.

Hope you are keeping as well as you can be.xx

Question Author

I love batty people xx

Hi Barsel.  Glad you are on the mend.  Why do so many people end up with fever, sepsis or pneumonia after ops!? It's not good!!

I knew what you meant Lottie, you meant are you practising on your little portable peddle bike ready for the next Tour de France and the answer is yes, I am.πŸ˜€

I'd like to send my best wishes too, Barsel. Goodness, you went through it!. All behind you now. Onwards and upwards x

Thank you, Patsy. Yes, all behind me now and only time will tell if it was worth it. πŸ™‚

I do hope so x

Well, it's over, well done. 2 days @fter my friend had her first knee done she said ' never again '  . Within. a week she was looking for a 2nd knee replacement . Take care .

You are a strong and determined lady Barsel...it will happen if you want it to.

Never mind the AB coven...we are the SOB ladies ...strong...opinionated...batty  πŸ˜†πŸ˜πŸ€£

Good to see you back, hope you are soon ticketyboo

Glad to have you back Barsel - you will be swinging from the lampshades in no time

Have already sent best wishes but do so again xx  Remember the exercises πŸ˜Š

Thanks everyone for all your good wishes, it's lovely to be back, I've missed you all.

As Patsy says, Onwards and Upwards. xx

hey barsel, great to see you back :)

in a way, it's probably a 'good' thing you were in hosp longer - the knee's had more time to recover

Hi bednobs, thank you.

Yes, you're right. I had the physio in there for just over a week so didn't need for them to come out to me or for me to go back for it. Just hoping the weather will brighten up a bit so I can venture outside for a little while.
