Very Sad News - Sqad
It’s with a very heavy heart that I have to tell you that Mrs Sqad has asked me to let you know that Sqad passed away on New Year’s Day. He had been quite unwell recently as many of you realised so now at peace. He used to really enjoy this site and I know most people had engaged with him at some time or another. I met them both several times in Menorca and have remained very good friends ever since. Sincere condolences to Mrs Sqad at such a difficult time, she really is the loveliest lady and Sqad really was an amazing husband to her. RIP my lovely.

I am unable to go but I will hopefully catch up via videolink. I know many of you liked Sqad or he helped you, also others who thought he was more negative things that I won't repeat but I've seen it all over the years. I've seen him receive lots of admiration and fondness and a deal of nastiness too. Away from the medical questions where he genuinely wanted to help a lot of what he said was sport to liven up discussion you know...
He and Mrs Sqad had a long and very happy marriage, they cared for each other deeply and are/were both actually lovely normal people.
Will be thinking of you both. Much love always.
Thanks Prudie. Nice words. He is missed already here. The last question I asked Sqad was one that I'd been trying for years to muster the courage to ask. He, being as appreciative of the ladies as he was, I wondered if he'd ever actually been smitten and fallen in love? The question made him laugh - but I finally got my answer. Oh yes indeed. He absolutely adored Mrs Sqad. Much love to her. x
