Sadly I had to leave to meet a friend, when I met up with my friend couldn't stop telling her about him (odd as I'd only seen him for about a min and never even spoken to him) in an odd way I knew that was not the end of it. An hour later we went into a bar, stood at the bar waiting to be served and the bar man turned round it was him. Again there was a really intense eye contact, and it felt like the world stopped. My friend and I sat down and had our drinks and left. As we got to the underground about 2 min walk from the pub, someone tapped me on the shoulder, he'd followed us out, he gave me his number claiming the eye contact was simply surreal, and he felt he had to stop me going. We had fun for a few months together, a relationship wouldn't have lasted, but now were really good friends and I feel like I've known him all my life. I'm still haunted by memory of the first time we saw each other, it was unexplainable.
I have always found that the most intruiging girlies I have noticed have always had something about them the longer I look at them the more it makes feel better...it's tricky to describe.
I met a grily once on a paintballing trip of all places, she had the most amazing piercing blue eyes and I didn't stand much of a chance with her as I was still trying to get over an ex and also most of the day she'd seen me in full combat gear and face mask and that's pretty unattractive.
Yes, it happened to me twice. The first one was when I was 15 at a rock concert. I looked up, and a few feet in front of me was this guy, who was smiling at me. I was absolutely entransed, it was like one of those few seconds when you feel like the time has stopped. Unfortunately, there were so many people that I soon lost him in the crowd. I still remember his eyes from time to time !
The second time was at a music festival, in France. I was walking in the street with my friend, but she had gone accross the road to talk to someone. I stood there, and saw this guy leaning against a car. He was looking at me, with the most beautiful eyes and smile. I don't know what got into me, as I'm normally quite shy, but I went to talk to him, and 5 minutes later we were snogging against the car, in full view of everybody ! lol We were together for 2 and a half years after that. So yes, I believe in those spooky chance meetings !
I know the feeling Danni, often I see people that I think I know and it turns out I don't but most people are stuck into the 70's idea about not talking to strangers and stuff so we walk on and are left wondering why the heck we never said hello even if to break the ice.
I don't think it has that much to do with the other person being "beautiful" as in "pretty". It's more of an attraction, some sort of recognition, and I think it's more about charm, something in their eyes that speaks to you. There are lots of "beautiful" people around, but you don't feel this with all of them ! Indeed, you can feel attracted to a lot of different people, considered "pretty" or not. It's quite strange, really.
yes!! A beautiful guy at the fez club in Bristol about 8 yrs ago, I was going to pluck up the courage to walk over and got side tracked by Sambucca.
On another note but relatively similar, I went to lunch with a friend a couple of weeks ago, a guy (nice looking with Owen Wilson hair) crouched at our table and endeavoured to tell me I was beautiful and that after he saw me smile, he had to come and take his chances before he had to go back to work and ask me out on a date. I looked around to see if anyone was laughing cause I could not believe it wasn't some kind of joke. Alas, I thanked him for being kind and explained I was engaged to which he responded " Thats a sahme cause I'll be thinking about you for a long time" My heart melted, if only something like that happened every day.
