I would suggest a visit to a doctor, just to be on the safe side.
I do not believe that taking 4 X microgynon would work as morning after pill. You can buy morning after pill from chemists now, though I think they are 25. See your doctor, although sounds like you probably are not pregnant, but bear in mind any other std's you may catch. keep an eye on things and get yourself some sontraception for future adventures :O)

I don't know if I'm right but I really don't think taking 4 pills of micgronium 30 has the same effect as the emergency pill. I can't believe you were told this! You really could have done some damage! Get to a doctor straight away. It's really unlikely you're pregnant but you do need to go to get checked over. Please let us know what happens, good luck x

Microgynon 30 does things to your body to prevent you getting pregnant when you have sex.. as opposed to working at it after you've had sex. In other words, it does things to your body to prevent it getting pregnant.... so it can't work as the morning after pill does.

One of the side-effects of overdosing on microgynon 30 is withdrawal bleeding - so perhaps this is what you have. The leaflet says that if you overdose you should consult your doctor... so thats what I'd advise you to do! Good luck
Checking a number of information sources, it seems that what you have done is in fact take the equivalent of the old-style (combined) "morning after pill" which consists of two large doses of progesterone and oestrogen 12 hours apart. The more modern method uses only progesterone.

So I'm not sure that things are as bad as has been suggested.

According to Wikipedia, "The most common side effect of Emergency Contraceptives are nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, menstrual changes, dizziness, vomiting, and breast tenderness. These side effects are normally resolved within 24 hours. The rate of these effects occurring are less for progesterone-only pills when compared to combined pills."

However, I strongly suggest that you consult a doctor, if only to get some peace of mind.
