I am on the contraceptive pill, and am fully aware that if you miss one you are not protected against pregnancy until 7 days later...what if you miss one less than 7 days before your gap though?

i missed one last saturday, and then took my pill as normal sunday monday and tuesday, but then stopped for my 7 day gap, I have started my pill again yesterday(weds). When I am protected against pregancy again? is it just seven days after the missed one, or do I have to take 7 days pills in a row to be protected again?

I'm very confused any advice most welcome!

thank you

you wouldn't have been protected for 7 days after the missed one. So after a week (last sat) you are protected again.

You have to take 7 pills in a row to be protected again.

If you have less than 7 pills left in the packet after you've missed one then you start the next pack straight away with no 7 day break.

What lilmonkey said.
im sure youve asked alot of questions about this sort of thing before maybe you should talk to the ppl at your local family planning clnic
