Just wondering exactly how much do they wax? Also, how long does the hair need to be.

Anyone had any bad experiences (or good)?

I've been having my bikini line waxed for 15 years now, and it still hurts every time, and I've decided not to bother anymore. I had my first laser hair removal session yesterday and it was practically painless!

Forgot say, you need about 2 weeks growth for waxing

Marwel7, was that Hollywood Star Treatment? I remember that, she made it look very painful indeed!!

I'm with felixthedog on this. My ex wife shaved it all off for a laugh and it was horrible.

As nature intended for me !!!

You can also have laser treatment to permanently remove hair.
FAO PAWSABELLE. I've had my armpitts done with IPL and would like my bikini line done as well but I'm a bit shy - how much would I have to take off (clothing) - do they let you keep your thong/knickers on as I don't like the idea of being nekkid waist down for any old stranger (female or not)?

Flipflop104 - I can't see how it could be done properly as a Brazilian involves removing ALL the hair ! AFAIK, people who are likely to have a brazialian all the time - like porn stars so the hair doesn't block the view - are now going for lazer treatment in preference to wax. Like with shaving, after a lot of waxes your skin will get used to it a bit - but I've been told that lazering is virtually painless and leaves less problems afterwards. As regards the guy view on this: You girls moan that we don't have a 'good sense of direction' so pruning the shrubbery gives us a chance to see where we're going. Plus, we're less likely to wind-up choking to death on organic dental floss !

I had this bad exp when I was in school, my friends Paula and Tey talked me in to it and at first we cut off excess hair with scissors,(no we didnt do each others),then I got my Mom's waxing kit .Tey was first ,we ended up getting the angle wrong and she was left with patches on the left side.I went in next and the pain was unbearable.,it was bleeding in a few places and I put some vaseline on it but Paula the B**** backed off.

Well it was worth it .next day in school I was the top b**** ,My boy friend Matt wanted to see it desperately and allhis mates wanted to see,I guess they were curious.I did show them a peek,in the gym. That was my only exp with it and by the way my younger brother heard of this and reported to my Mom who till this very day considers me as a **** and adisgrace to the family.

@Kepla. I don't want all my hair removed by IPL and I def don't want a Brazillian wax <ouch!>.

I was asking PAWSABELLE as to how much exposure you need to give the person who's administering the IPL to remove bikini line hair.

And I don't mind what you guys get up to with your gfs/missus' LOL as I have a GF who knows exactly what she's doing, and has a very "good sense of direction", regardless of whether I have trimmed or not :o) LOL

Flipflop104. You shouldn't need to remove knickers for bikini wax (althouh I know you're not asking bout waxing!), I've had four different beauticians, and not one of them has asked me to remove knickers, just move them to one side so they still cover your bits you really dont want exposed if you can help it. Cant say what they do for lasering as I've never had it done.
Hi Flipflop, sorry for my belated reply, I missed this one! You can leave your knickers on and just adjust them according to how much hair you want removing. It's best to wear white knickers as the laser can go much closer as the light just bounces off them. If you wear a dark colour, the nurse can't go so close as the laser can burn them, so I was told on my last visit. Hope this helps. I had my underarms done on my last session 4 weeks ago, and no hair has grown back yet!
