Girls - have you had a Brazilian wax?

Just wondering exactly how much do they wax? Also, how long does the hair need to be.
Anyone had any bad experiences (or good)?

They'll wax as much as you ask them to wax...from experience you have to ask for more to be taken off. Might just be my salon but they tend to start quite tame....it hurts like hell but well worth it. best to just tell the waxer what youwant and take a bit extra each session so youget used to it... gets easier every trip
go for it, it's not that bad. It you're like a yeti tho (i sometimes like to let it grow!) trim it down before you go or it really will hurt like hell. Sometimes I'll do it myself in between and it actually hurts less than the salon I reckon. All in all tho it's not that bad unless you've never had any waxing anywhere before in which case it would be a bit of a shock! Be prepared to look like a plucked chicken afterwards, and sometimes it does get quite sore a couple of hrs after and I find aloe vera gel soothes it brilliantly.
My girlfriend did it recently & as much as I thought I'd like it, I really didnt. I thought it looked unnatural & too much like a pre-pubescent girl (or even a barbie doll)which didnt make me feel any better about it either. Also after just a couple of days, the little prickles started comming out & made her really itchy as well as all the ones that became ingrown & formed red pimples (not attractive). I also found it too prickly on me. In my (male) opinion the natural bushy look & feel is better any day.
