Ive been using johnsons tanning lotion on and off for a few months, i think its really good and brings on a great tan, but i have been putting a small amount on my face aswell as my body, even though it states it is just for your body, i didnt think it would harm to put on my face, but the day after i have a wierd headache, i shrugged it off the first time but then a few weeks later did the same again and had the same strange headache, do you think it could be this cream?

It certainly sounds like it! They must have done clinical trials for it, and the chances are people experienced headaches like you have. I really wouldn't do it again- god knows what is in it.

it must depend on your skin type, i use it on my face and i am fine so maybe get yourself checked out

xx

I think Johnsons actually do a tanning lotion specifically for your face.

Could be that the worry of thinking you shouldn't use it on your face is giving you facial tension and therefore a headache.
good god are you some sort of numpty, if it says it is for your body and not your face, why the flunk put it on your face, christ you are certainly looking for trouble arent you.
I dont think there is anything wrong with putting it on your face if your skin doesn't react to it. Having a seperate lotion for face is just a ploy to get more money out of us! It is probably just a milder version of the body lotion with a more creamy feel. This is only an idea though-I'm not an expert!
I have found the Nivea one for face much better than the Johnsons face one - much better colour
