Swollen foot!

My left foot swelled up last night. It went all "fat". I took a piriton and went to bed but this morning it is still the same, particularly on top. Any idea what causes this? Could it be the hot weather?!

my foot blew up this time last year. I thought i had been bitten but it turns out i had broken toes. My foot was like a sausage and after a few days went blue. My hospital wouldn't x-ray until months after and by then the bone had regrown so now i have wonkey toes - nice! If its still like it in a few days i suggest u go to the docs

This happened to me last year and it was tendonitis. The swelling was fluid collecting around the tendons. A physio advised to raise above head height (not while standing up!) to allow the fluid to drain. It happened to me while at the gym on the treadmill.

happensed to me but i was bitten but something pretty nasty, however it was ob as there was a red bumpy bit were i had been bitten, if the piritons not working best bet is to see your doc
