I have to self inject EPO injections and have just done this . However I forgot to expell the air from the pre filled cartridge before injecting.Is this dangerous?

Hi, Call NHS direct and they'll be able to advise you.

Air embolisms can be very dangerous and you need to be very careful to expel air from syringes before injecting. I hope the following site gives you help and some reassurance. Best wishes.

if it was a s/c or i/m injection then it mght hurt a bit more, but not dabgerous as such, and there is nothing you can do about it now
i would imagine you werent injecting into your blood stream, so dont worry

The injection was in the fleshy part of the stomach and not directly into a vien. Im not sure what types of injection you call this Kazza
i wouldnt panic, but i would seek medical advice.. as mentioned before, give nhs direct a call or pop into the local A&E...
i would call that a s/c (sub cutaneous = under the skin) injection, so dont panic
