Yes, it is all natural but it does not mean that it is good for you.
Neither is the use of too strong shampoos that leave the scalp dry and cracked which again promotes a cycle of skin problems and infection.
Balance. Take a balanced approach. Keep the skin and scalp clean and conditioned. If your hair has a nice sheen to it, it is well hydrated and oiled. If it looks dry it needs additional attention. If you have flaky scalp it needs medicated shampoos.
But letting your hair go "naturally" greasy is not natural in this industrialized environment. You are letting air pollutants cling to your skin and scalp that mix with your own body oils to make a not too natural brew for contamination.
Wash it off. Keep it conditioned.

i wasn't suggesting never washing it! i was just saying leaving it to it own devices for a few day is good for it.
those oils are produced for a reason, and they are full of everything your skina nd hair needs to nourish itself. obviously as has been mentioned, with todays pollutants etc , it won't stay nice for long so you must wash it.
i am 34 and rarely have my hair cut and have no split ends and I have yet to have a grey hair.
and incidentally i don't wash my face either - i have no wrinkles and am usually believed to be about 22-25
i don't have any spots either.

If you don't wash your face, dirt and pollutants will build up in your pores, your pores will enlarge (spots or no spots) and you will look older than your years in a few quick years.
And believe me you can't get back beautiful youthful skin once it is gone.
You sound like you want people to agree with you that it is "natural" (and therefore "better") to let your hair go greasy and to let your skin go unwashed.
