Well he had his boy's night out lastnight but didn't go quite according to plan.He called on leaving work and said that he now wasnt staying in hotel he had told me as it was full,so they had booked him and 5 others into another hotel. Then he rang at 11pm saying they didnt go to the restaurant he had told me either as it was too busy,so ended up in a pub he couldnt remember(even tho this was meant to be a pre-arranged meal/drink for 45 people!!). and that he was shattered and having an early night. Then I txt him this morn as I always do - no reply. Grrrrrrr.........

oooh

take deep breaths and count to 100

then you can scream
men are rubbish at text at the best of times, most of all after a heavy night out and early in the morning. i imagine that he will be a bit disappointed that it all seemed to go flat and maybe doesn't really want to talk about it yet. i'm sure you will hear from him soon.
men just dont get it do they? he will be totally oblivious to the fact that you are in a tantrum...be cool!

And I did so well lastnight not calling him, txting, just chilled indoors.!! Which is very hard for somebody who is a bit insecure.
I just find it hard to believe that 45 people were apparently just planning to turn up at a well know food/drink pub and hope to get tables!!! And nothing was properly booked
Im sure youll find that the person meant to book it has messed it all up.
keep calm when he gets home and just ask him all about his eve.
have i missed something - what's he done wrong????
i think that just proves what he thought about them originally doesn't it. i have been on lots of work functions that go belly up because of bad organisation.
if blokes were organising it i wouldn't be surprised, i went to a party my (male) friend had organised, turned up at the pub where he had booked a function room, to find out he had forgotten to book the room! don't worry he's probably hung over and feeling sorry for himself, i bet he can't wiat to get home to you tonight!
Pardon me Imp, not all men are rubbish at txt !!

My ex once went away for a few days 'to be alone and catch up on some reading' - and do you know I believed it....

Am I just being a complete plonker??
Sort of thing my hubby would do,then if he rings and i dont or cant answer i get the 3rd degree on why i didnt answer the phone when he rang????
...another anti man rant from the witches of eastwick......

Two things?

What exactly has he done wrong??
You clearly don't trust him so why are you in a relationship you obviously aren't secure in?
I honestly cant see why he would volunteer the info that he didnt go to the right restaurant if he was covering something up.
It sounds like men trying to organize themselves ha ha ha
Sounds to me more like they met up and thought lets spend the money on a few drinkypoo's rather than wasting valuable drinking time eating!

men! cant live with em..... ;o)

Wouldnt worry Pink!

and whats that other saying about men... couldnt organise a pi** up in a brewery!
About as much use as an ashtray on a bike!!!

Yes,ok,I sound like a slightly neurotic freak, but he did have a week long affair when he was with his ex!!
Anyway,I have had a txt - sounds in a foul mood over work so I have just left him to it!
any way rule no 7 eatings cheating
you dont sound like a neurotic freak. Its understandable given his history that things like that may cross your mind but at the end of the day you need to trust him.
