you don't know for sure he's forgotten, particularly if he reminded you last week. That can be a danger of 'traditions', when something doesn't happen as it always has done, it can be upsetting. He may be planning something later. Personally, I think if it's preying on your mind you should say something today. Otherwise it could just start winding you up and up. I don't prescribe to this idea of not saying anything and then making someone "suffer"... not nice for you all day today worrying about it. Maybe you just need to wait and see what happens later today.

yes you really did sound like you were disgruntled! And i just thought "poor man" (most probably because if this kind of scenario happenened in the kazza household it would be me forgetting the card/anniversary and if i did i'd like to think he wouldn't be plotting ways to hold it over me later!) :)
My dear electric,
How couls any man forget being married to such a babe as you, he will come home later, with a massive bulge in his trousers, and say surprise look what i've got for you, and you will think "oh my god he wants a shag" but when he pulls the thing out of his trousers it will make you squeal with delight, It will be a massive, big, enormous Diamond Ring, so relax, anyway you wanted me in bed last night,
But seriously, congratulations, have a lovely evening and enjoy the rest of your time together, take care, Ray xx

My husband did the same a couple of weeks ago. I have been married 39 years. He remembered it was our
anniversay coming up but on the day he forgot. I was not going to say anything but I blurted it out in a disagreement. This was mid morning so he went out and came back with flowers and a card. It wasn't quite the same. Say something, I would.
