Did you enjoy your piri piri, Ward? I had chicken stuffed with bacon & cheese in a cream sauce..your dinner sounded much more appetising.

Oh! the OP...right, so he is claiming libel then, eh?
I had the txt abuse rubbish off my ex, and the police were involved and no there is nothing you can do unfortunately as anyone could have said phone and txt the abuse.Stupid i know but very true.

Thank you for the clarification, Ward ~ I thought it just had to be written so I have learned something valuable today :o)

I love banana on the BBQ..and organic ice cream is to die for. Thanks for the recipe!
well i know the police take notice of abusive texts sent to kids as it happened to my friends daughter
if someone slandered you on here biscuitboy, what would you do about it?
slander is spoken, libel is written, as a rule, but it has to be 'published' - that is, communicated to someone else. (The idea is that it damages your reputation in the eyes of others.) If they just send messages to you about yourself, that doesn't count, but as stated you could tell the authorities you're being harassed,
Sticks and stones may break your bones... but texts will never hurt you
