wow im glad my first post was a thought provoking answer that left the debate open........
Well I had nothing else to say ;o)

A guy doesn't look better if he is muscley ~ in the same way that a girl wouldn't look better if she had big boobies or a certain shade of hair!
I agree with Pippa - muscley men just aren't my type - I probably wouldn't give him a second glance!!

now if you said tall, slim and dark - I would've probably said the opposite!!

A xXx

oh my god woman look better with big boobies!!

seriously i am an amateur enthusiast of psychology and apparently a woman looks for a strong man that can protect her and will also always look for the "alpha male"
Toned is nice but muscles are generally a turn off, they just make me assume what the guys like and thats never a good thing.
Question Author
right sorry i dont mean the arnie wannabes you know like.........someone like......christian bale in american psycho or tobey maguire in spider man there quite muscley but not stupidly big
Well it is all down to personal taste, The Sherman!

I know of guys who were totally put off by my gazongas..they prefer 2 asprins on an ironing board ;o)

As Greedyfly says, toned is good..but then I don't mind a bit of flab either! but as for really big muscles? no way. You are right in the view that a lot of women will go for the strong type, but the same could be said for me going for women with big hips..it isn't always so. Look at all those guys who fancy the likes of Keira Knightly or Vanessa Paradis.
*men* going for women with big hips, not *me*.

LOL..what would your psychology head say about that typo? heh heh.
Question Author
it wouldnt be my psychology part that would be thinking about that.....!!!!!
LMAO...marvellous :o)
I went out with a bloke who had huge rippling muscles and absolutely no personality whatsoever. So I would have to say a definite NO.x
P.S. He did look very nice though!!!x
ew, not a fan of big muscles here either, mr boob has a lovely figure though, he is very slender and i know that he could look after me (and does) and wouldnt let anyone physically hurt me.
Question Author
yes but katie why did you go out with him in first place
muscley no..... nice build would be a good thing though
Question Author
right so where does nice build become muscley and also pippa come back and tell me about what happened last wekend....... youknow the lesbionic stuff
How very dare you! I have never had any lesbionic moments..well, not in real life anyway ;o)

I would say that I like a bit of muscle definition in the biceps..only very slightly though, probably only noticeable when flexed. However, this is by no means the first thing I look for and I once had a very nice relationship with a bloke who looked like a twig...
Question Author
hmm well what if you were intelligent an' all and you were muscley???? hmm what would you say to that?
Still a no really. Muscle men tend to be self obsessed, just like plastic women who have loads of surgery to alter their looks. Much rather have a man with a lovely personality and a bit of a beer belly any day, at least that says he lives a little :o)
