Flickering Eye

Hi my eyes are often tired and now me left eye is twitching a bit - I get loads of sleep, but used to play too much computer games (thats my theory) Is there anything I should do, is seeing the optician a waste of time

Hello Ray - I often get a twitchy eye - like a tic. When this happens it usually goes on for around 2 - 3 days and then stops. I've had it checked out and it appears to be a symptom of tiredness. I can bear this out because now I know when it will happen - usually when I've stayed up too late for a few nights, stared at the computer too much and are generally over-tired. My doc thinks its harmless. Hope yours is too. Take Care Doll xx

I know about flickering eye, I have had it for many years. It is tiredness and a bit of eyestrain. Lay off the computer games, drink lots of water and fresh fruit and veg (yes I know its boring) some good sleep, at least 8 hours and you will see a marked improvement!!!
