funny excuses??

what are you favourite, funniest, excuses you have used or given for not turning up somewhere on time, ????

mine was, my car broke down and had to get a bus to work ,..... but then forgot by the end of the day, and offered my boss a life home im my car... that was supposed to be in the garage being repaired!!! OOOps!!!!

Didn't get to work until 11 am.instead of my normal 8 a.m.

Woke up on a Friday, thinking it was Saturday. Got up late, mooched around, had a leisurely breakfast, read the paper from end to end over two cups of tea and then suddenly caught sight of the top of the paper where it gave the date - Friday., whatever it was !!

Have never changed into a working suit and jumped into a car so quickly in my life !!
