Trendy
24 Answers
Am i just being and old grump or has anyone else noticed most youngsters (16-22) nowadays seem to think it is fashionable to claim they are bi-sexual? More or less every young lady i talk to claims to be and i have met a fair few fellas now who are finding it trendy. Should i go with the times and start going for lads as well as girls, i don't want to be un-trendy.

I have had the privilege of mixing with the gay community over the last 45 years or more.
But even I, a pensioner, have noticed how 'trendy' it is for young adults to claim to be bi. I doubt the majority are.
But boundaries have been pushed further and further and it gets harder to shock the oldies.
And rebelling against the norm has been an essential part of growing up for years. And least claiming to be bi harms no-one.
I am looking forward to seeing what the next trend is.

Yeah i totally agree with sufragette! im 21 and bisexual although i hate to say it or display it as there simply is no need to you meet someone you like and thats it... and it annoys me how most people talk about it in general convos or claim to be bi because its somewhat cool but they really would never do anything when sober. I had a year long relationship with a girl and after it ended i am only just being able to move on after a year later. I never cheated and do not see being bi as an excuse to cheat or anything it is the same rules as being in a striaght relationship
