separated from my husband 6 years ago having been together for 11 years (we have a 9 year old son). He has recently split from his girlfriend (they lived together and were engaged). She instigated the end of the relationship. We have always remained close and I love him to bits. He has told a close mutual friend that he regrets screwing things up with me (not that our split was entirely his fault) and has hinted that he is considering approaching me with a view to "trying again". We are great mates, our son would be thrilled (as would various family members) and we would have a great lifestyle with our joint income. Im just not sure if it would work. Sorry to go on but I would appreciate your thoughts just in case he asks the question........thanks x

MissyR, I have a username that makes people think I am a "HIM", but believe me I am a her lol, I got mine from a dear dog and his nickname I had for him, I'm actually Rebecca or Becca, its weird how different answers are when people think you are male and not female though!!!

It works for some people, it didn't for me. Funny thing is if his girlfriend hadn't walked out on him we would'nt have got back together. But we did and had seven more years together, first 5'ish were good, but I never trusted him again, with good reason as it turned out., The 2nd time we split my son was 14 and it was a lot harder for him second time around. One of the problems for you is if you don't try - you'll always wonder ????? such a big decision for you, good luck with whatever you decide.
