I am feeling a bit insecure, could someone help me as to how to ask a guy I like for a date again, I have posted a previous question on this one but now we have been in touch again I really would like to see him again, but to be honest am very scared of rejection, I cant quite make out if he likes me enough to want to meet again or not....I have asked if he is ok and he has been talking to me but not mentioned another date/meal - what to do...

The two of you sound as though sitting making conversation over a meal could be a bit tedious. Perhaps he doesn't fancy discussing himself at the moment.

Why not choose a new film you fancy seeing and ask him if he would like to see it with you?

I can tremember what I put in my text, I think something along the lines of 'once things are settled with your daughter perhaps we could go for dinner'

Nope, always been Sasha since the day I joined.

As the situation has been left relatively open ended, I'd leave it for him to make the first move now in terms of confirming a time and place - difficult I know, but there's no point pushing it if he's not interested.
