Any and all women convicted of rape under UK law will have been accessories to a male perpetrator and faced trial on that charge because of "joint enterprise".
Although found guilty of the charge of rape because of secondary criminal liability (aiding, abetting or incitement) these women have not committed the act of rape itself.
