This man clearly had personal issues. No blame can really be apportioned to anyone else since suicide from Latin sui caedere, is the "wilful" act of killing oneself. Whilst we can vilify those who watched it, or even egged it on, should we not then also reprimand any of those people who slow down to stare (rubber-neckers) at the scene of an horrific car crash? Most people are guilty of morbid curiosity.
What sort of society is it where a man feels the only public attention he can get is by doing something like this? Of course someone on AB could be affected by another person�s vitriolic abuse, but to do something like this they would need to have something going seriously wrong in their lives beforehand. He didn�t NEED encouragement.
