The simple things in life

I was in my local shopping centre and noticed a certain buzz around the place. People smiling and chatting to each other , generally happier than they usually seem . What was going on to have lifted spirits ??? It was simply a stand giving away free samples of a toilet cleaner fluid !!! Isn't it great how simple little things please .

Yes I was tittering on the bus home ..........all I could hear was .......... " ooo yes look I got one too ," and pulling them out of their bags to wave them at each other !!! Bless

Had to laugh bigmamma, are you sure they weren't doing a 'Father Jack' and drinking the free samples instead, or is that just the shopping centre near me!

Seriously though, its strange how the smallet of things or actions can totally change your day! Even a smile, a nod, a hello from a stranger will cheere me up!

I noticed the same thing in M&S at lunchtime!! The check-out girl was chatting to every single customer, asking, �How are you today?� followed by �Did you find what you were looking for?�. It cheered up the customers no end and got them all chatting!

I chickened out of my response. I was going to answer to the 2nd question, �Well I came in here looking for a husband but you�ve stopped selling them, so I�ll have to settle for this cake instead.�
