Hmm, I dont have syphilis but I dont want it.
So to not have something you want is often better than to have something you dont want. As I dont really talk about not having syphilis, am I a have or a have not?
nannon, that's such a nice thing to hear. They say the eyes are the window to your soul, and you seem a lovely person, so maybe 'they' are right!
I have a great partner, a wonderful dog, my whole life ahead of me, a super job/jobs-to-be, and a house that has stairs that belong to me and not a load of other people!
I have my health, my friends, my happiness, a +ve outlook.
What do others have? I would love to hear some good stuff today!
oh good - i was on the right lines!!!
I'm not totally happy with my kife and situation but not unhappy with it easier -i dont live with my boyf but will do soon, i wish i didnt share a house but the people i share with are nice.
i want to be a teacher and dont really like the job i'm in now but i like the people i work with so thats ok. I wish i was thinner but have already lost 12pounds in 7 weeks so i'm getting there...!!
I have a wonderful famioy and lovely friends so i should moan half as much as i do!!!
Maybe because it could be misconstrued as bragging. We Brits are not good at celebrating the positive, are we?!! The papers are full of celebs being built up only to be knocked down again for getting too big for their boots!!
I'll be brave though, and rememberI'm not bragging!
I have two beautiful, clever and kind boys, who I'm lucky to be able to look after full-time.
One husband who has me on a pedestal, despite me telling him all the time he shouldn't put me there.
A lovely small-town environment to watch my boys grow up in.
A very large, but very close, very loving family.
More friends than I have had at any point in my life before.
Some recent 'money' bad times well and truly behind us.
I'm very happy with my lot - now watch some miserable sod spoil it for me lol!!!!
i have a beautiful, loving, intelligent toddler who is going to turn 2 next week. I have a great family, a job that allows me to come on AB and a wonderful boyfriend who is also a great dad!
Octavius, fair point. I suppose part of the escapism of the Net is sharing worries and problems with anonymous people who won't judge so readily (in most cases!) and who you can open up to about things you maybe can't chat to your friends about.
Therefore it's more complaints than celebrations I guess...
nannon, I have ladypains, but they've been happening once a month for 10 years now so it's standard stuff really! Thanks for your concern though! I have chocolate fingers and great music, so I'm bearing up!
