my sister has ovarian cysts, she still went on to have a child and is currently pregnant with her second, I think it took her much longer to get pregnant
it can cause problems, but depends on loads of things!
my sister had large cysts on her ovaries, and had surgery to remove a particularly large one and also lost one ovary - she was told that she only had a 3% chance of conceiving naturally................a few years later she has a gorgeous little girl - concieved without any problems what so ever!!
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome. The only symptoms I had was bleeding between periods and absent periods. I have had to healthy children both easily conceived. If you find you are having problems there are drugs they can give you to help you ovulate normally.
I had ultrasounds to check my cysts and they are on both ovaries. I before I had children went through phases where I would only ovulate from one side. if you do have these I hope you have every luck managing your symptoms but key to the syndrome is keeping your weight down which is insanely difficult when you ahve these.
