The wonderful love of a beautiful maid and the love of a staunch true man.
And the love of a baby unafraid has existed since time began.
But the greatest love , the love of love, even greater than that of a mother.
Is the tender and passionate infinite love of one drunken sod for another.

Yeah, that's normal, making an instant connection with someone doesn't always have to be sexual. I remember when I met a girl at uni I immediately thought, 'we;re going to become really good friends' and we did and still are! Sometimes you just know that you have a connection with people, and like I say, it's not always a sexual one.
I met mr thugulike at a tennis club and we used to shake hands over the net at the end of a match. He had (and still has) large, warm ,dry hands that wrapped around mine and sent a shiver down my neck. I have met people and formed an instant and lasting friendship with them. I seem to know when I click with people. I have good friends that I may not see for months, even years sometimes but we pick up like we've never been apart. Nice when that happens. I don't feel the need to have constant contact so that suits me.
