when asking ?

when asking for a divorce.
how do you tell your partner its over ?
and if you live in sin , do you need to tell them or is it ok to just up and leave saying nothing ?
after all theres no spoken agreement or commitment so does there need to be a spoken goodbye?
or will you" just know that " too ?

Whether someone is married or living "in sin" (ridiculous term really!), the partner or soon to be ex-partner deserves an explanation. Just walking out without a word is totally disrespecting the good times you both had together at some point int he relationship.
My second husband gave me a fabulous explanation, one which still baffles me to this day! He said (after being told I had bone cancer) " I love you too much to watch you die. " Then he left. Four years later, when I had won my battle against this disease, he was begging to come back! Silly sod!!!
I know at times it would seem far easier to do a "Beam me up, Scotty!", but it would be inexcusable!
