Senior Moments!!!

Don't you think some senior citizens are cute with the things they do, they have what people call senior moments. I was reading the other day about a pensioner that nearly burned down her old folks' home after putting her slippers under the grill to warm them up. I bet it was one of the most unusual call outs for her local fire brigade. Do you know of any "senior moments"?

i dont know if its classed as a senior moment because my boyfriends mum is only 49 lol but the other day he was telling her about the benefits of having sky + and he said 'the thing is mum when your out for tea you can record corrie and watch it when you come home' and she said ' oo oo right. so how much do the little video tapes cost then to tape it on'

it was one of those moments that just cracked me up.

Hello Zammo , I am a long way yet from pensioner age but I do have a fair amount of " senior moments " to my credit .

Nothing quite as bad as popping slippers under the grill, but it was my birthday not too long ago and my nan sent me a cheque in with my birthday card. Only thing is, she wrote the cheque out to my mum instead of me, lol. My mum didn't complain obviously...

An elderly lady on my nans sheltered complex used a camping stove when the electricity was out one day. She had turned on her electric stove and found it wasnt working.

Unfortunately she hadnt turned it off and had sat the camping stove on top to cook her tea.

She had carefully made sure she switched off the gas but when the electricity came back on................

BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!
