I have a quote going round in my head and it goes like this (and said in a chinese voice I think)

"You lie, like cheap chinese /japanese watch"

something like that. I remember that phrase from years ago but cannot recall where from. Anyone know?

i do not know the origin - but my late father used to use it occasionally, so it is at least 30 years old ... possibly more
