Not having a brolly when it's raining.
If you have teated hair or use a hairdryer or stying tongs etc then you hair is most likely very porous because all that heat is damaging the hair and removing all the oils that make it water repellent and glossy. Try an intensive conditioning treatment like hot oil and lay off the blow drying.
