It wasn't that long ago. He didn't do anything horrendous, like mistreat me, of sleep around or anything. But he'd gone past the point where he wanted to put any effort into our relationship.

I'm not high maintenance, or demanding, in fact I'm very easy going and, in most of the ways men usually want, I'm pretty accommodating, but he'd reached the "taking the p*ss" point.

So one Friday, I was out with a couple of my friends having the "what are you getting from this relationship?" talk, and the answer was ... nothing. Not any more. Not from him. Then, after I told him, he was a bit mean, so I've given him his current nickname.
