already dyed

i've dyed my hair a dark brown 2 days ago now i want it lighter is it ok to go over a colour so soon

I'd wait a little longer. My friend recommends two weeks if possible between dying but I know when she mucked up my hair once and turned it black when I wanted it brown she done it within three days (I hassled and hassled non stop though!). Good luck!
