I'm in my third nearly fourth week without a cigarette, but I'm wondering if roll-ups are an easier option than fags...I'm grasping at straws here...maybe I'll smoke some straw...someone say yes and help me out with these "withdrawal" symptoms. Ta Muchly.

Don't give in even with rollups. Its your body and mind trying to fool you. You are now going through the phase where your mind is trying to give you reasons to start again. "I'll just have one, I've given it up once, its only when "etc etc .
Having gone this far do you want to go through it all again.

Yes Rosetta I know and I Thank You as well as all the others. That seems pretty wierd Um, as they seem to take great pleasure in recommending all these nico... products and it's not as if they're after my money, cos I don't have to pay for 'em - though you or someone will probably say "no, but we non-smokers do!".
I appreciate this might not be your thing woodelf but both my sons went for hypnosis & it's been successful, neither have smoked since & nor have the 7 or 8 work colleagues who went to the same place. Might seem expensive but so are the alternatives & they soon recouped the cost. One session, �100.

The book ummmmm sugggested is really good. There's a section on 'just having one more' that really made me realise I shouldn't crack when I was craving. The NHS always recommend nicotine replacement without even considering that it doesn't work for everyone. You are not suffering physical withdrawal symptoms now, it's all psychological. You need to resolve to yourself that you will never smoke again but only if that's what you really want to do.
Have you worked out how much money you've saved yet? You could maybe treat yourself to something you really want as a reward. Good luck, stay with it & one day you'll realise you haven't thought about a fag - very liberating!
