I am 4'8" tall and 32-20-32. I am perfectly proportioned for my size and I have terrible trouble getting nice clothes to fit me. Petite sizes bury me and I usually wear age 9-10. Alas, I am 44 and girls clothes are looking far too young on me!! Does any one know where I can get women's clothes for my size?

Jane Norman do some small clothes so may be worth giving them a try.
I was going to advise looking at the Principles website but have just discovered they have gone bust :(
There's a website here with some info and links on that might be helpful:- http://www.yo-shorty.co.uk/
stop bragging ...... we've all been there and would luv to be size 6. Get onto Mrs Overalls thread and stuff on home-made bread.
Asda do some quite nice size 4 but depending on your store I think.. My mum is soon to be 50(but she is slightly taller 5') and she buys them also I think top shop for jeans etc. Phase 8 and Karen Millan
I have similar proportions to you and find that New Look's 915 range sometimes does some lovely clothes that are suitable for adults. If you find one of the bigger stores that has a decent range of clothes you might be able to find something nice.
