Cheat whilst in love??

Do you think it is possible to cheat on your partner yet still be in love with them? I am talking about full on cheating..sleeping with other people etc.

well, I suppose it's technically possible if you were verrrrry drunk & unaware of what you were doing (although why anyone would behave like that if they're not single is beyond me).  If that person wasn't p!ssed I'd be very interested to hear their definition of being in love.

In my opinion, if you cheat on your partner, then you haven't got as much respect for them as you should have, and I think respect and love go hand in hand.

No. I don't think you really love that person if you'd cheat on them. you may think you're in love and cheat, but i don;t think it really can be love if you're willing to do that to them.

I believe that you can still love someone but not be "in love" with them, but you have asked if you can cheat if you are in love and I have to say that if you can then you probably aren't in love with them. We can and do all make mistakes, but they usually only happen the once. I suppose if someone has serious commitment problems then they may have a compulsive need to cheat.

I say yes, I DID love my ex when I cheated on him, the relationship wasn't right for various reasons but I still had love for him.

I totally agree with dirtyharriet, ive been with my fiancee for just over 5 years now, i cheated just the once, but i always thought i was in love with her, but now i realise i love her, more as a mate, although of course i still feel guilty as hell over it.

dont be silly. if u really loved them, u wudn't cheat. think how they wud feel if they ever found out! i wud never cheat, i'm not that nasty. hope it helped xxxxx
