pins and needles

I wake up with the pinky finger and the next two on each hand numb in the night and in the morning.The feeling comes back gradualy in 10 minutes or so when I get moving.Whats going on?

just to ask the obvious first question, you're not somehow lying on them during the night and cutting off the circulation?

you might still be lying on them during regular sleep, without knowing it. (Your hands have to go somewhere, after all.)

It sounds like you may have a pinched nerve at C8, perhaps a herniated disk. Is it bilateral or one sided?

naomi...I saked mrs sqad and she put me right.

rabelais...not C8 disc, as it is bilateral.

She needs referral to a Neurologist for nerve conduction studies and cervical MRI.
