So whats the craic with those Tanning pills -do you still end up orange or have they advanced?

Anyone have any recommendations or even horror stories.

I love the sun but never have my face in the sun so would like a bit of colour about my fissug.

Dove no good. He/She great. Tanning pills dont like them, still full of carrotene. I like sunbeds providing use not excessive. Good for seasional affective disorder.
my freinds sisters cousins parents pen pal took these and her ears fell off. take hede!
Dris get some st tropez spray, and a tanning mitt !! my mate used the tanning pills and she looked like one of the simpsons lol, never again!!!
Actually Dris i don't use my fake tan before i go away cos when you go in the sea or pool it goes very patchy but i use the sunbed for a couple of week before hand otherwise i get prickly heat.
I find dover brilliant but I try the darker shade for my skin
sorry dove :-)
I really like dove too - use the darker one too. I put some on this morning, really just a one off and feel there is a nice colour about me today!

Thanks for all your answers -guess the tanning pills are out then !!!

I was using the Dove for fair skin-think thats where I went wrong -will buy the darker one today -think that may work.

Im frightened to use the sunbed- dont know what came over me to even try it-not a good idea when youre 50 and trying to keep the wrinkles at bay lol.
I;ve got fair skin but I go for normal to dark keep using it though but exfoliate first as you get patches but I had a lovely golden tan for a party last week x
I have used the tanning pills that you get from Holland and barrett and got reallyl good results from them.

However for best results they need to be taken with daily exposure to sun, so I took them on a holiday in the sun. My tan was definitely a lot darker than on any other holidays and it was proper brown and not orange!

Try this stuff ^^^^ it is brilliant and not too expensive.
I don't like Dove...but have found Garnier ( the darker shade) and Piz Buin work very well.
I have heard that Fake Bake is also good, but don't know anyone who has tried it.
Drisgirl which tanning pills are you talking about?
My friend uses Melanotan injections and swears by them. She say's it works well and her cosmetic surgeon doesn't believe there are any sise effects. Please note, I'm not suggesting you use this product, just saying what I've been told.
melanotan2 is meant to be waaaaaay beyyer velvetee as it also sends sex drive through the roof!

Well I picked up 'Dove' for darker skin in Tescos and it turned out to be 'Johnsons' -I really should go to Specsavers -will give it a bash tho.!!

Mr Hurl -not any in particular- I see the tanning pills advertised and wondered if it could be a lazy option lol

chazza that could be an idea for my trips to Spain - i get restless sunbathing -ta for that .

Velvetee -I hadnt heard of that before -interesting-will have a look see if theres anything local.

daffy -hey that Dave stuff looks good -im spoilt for choice now -and its well recommended..

pasta -we have a salon in our town who do the 'Fake Bake' -I have been tempted for a special occasion as ive heard its blooming good !

Thanks everyone -will let you know in 3-4 days (lol) if there is any action going on with the Johnsons or if I have had to use Cif to get rid of it !!!
