Can a female be colour blind? I was told i was when i was younger that i was and i can not distinguish between blue and green. I have been told recently that only males are affected and so i'm now confused!!

Women can be effected by this i to am effected slightly- like you! when i was at college a girl said to me only men can have it i said thats funny because i have a slight problem with it she didnt believe me!! just to double check i looked on net, so yes we can get it!!!

I can't distinguish between blue/green either. Think men mostly suffer from red/green almost exclusively, and because that's the most common, no-one believes us girls!
