I have to say, I have never seen any 'dodgy' medical advice from sqad. He does not need to prove his credentials or medical experience - whatever risque or inflammatory comments he made in chatterbank, he has always tried to give sensible and sound advice in body/health section.

nhs covers all of england - where do you live? Where is your nearest walk in centre? Why wont the GP give him an appointment? Have you told them it's urgent?

bednobs, I live in N. Ireland. If a walk in centre is an A & E (?) then the nearest one is 45 mins away. He doesn't have a GP, he's in the forces, they have a med centre (which is a bit rubbish).

I shouldn't even have put 'tried to give....' - the tried doesn't come into it , he juset always has given sensible and sound advice in this particular category.

well then that explains everything! I'm sorry i have no knowledge of the health system over there. By walk in centre i meant a gp practice that accepts walk ins but i have no idea if you have them over there

when I have had a similar issue I have phoned the doctors and explained what is happening they will often just arrange an alternative medication which I can collect, no appointment needed.

Society, medical advice is based on confidence, lose that and you have lost credibility and that I have seem to have done.

CB was at one time fun, but in my opinion it has been taken over by jackthehat,bobbisox (ha! ha1 he ! he! I love you all LOL etc)BOO (tell it like it is) and their numerous supporters.

AB has lost it's trolls but has gained a more deadly subtle enemies.......in my opinion.
