Haven't tried it but my mam wanted her hair to be thicker after a bout of alopecia and she was advised to take vitamin b complex and evening primrose oil. She swears by it.

Thanks suezy .... I just bought some Perfectil, then I read a couple of reviews saying it made people vomit ... so I have just taken half a tablet, and see how it goes. Anyone else out there taken it ?

I took it for a while, can't say I noticed any difference except in my purse....

I used to take Imedeen for years (when I could afford it!) - I noticed more of a difference with that, but it's even more expensive than Perfectil. It improved my skin, but can't say it made any appreciable or noticeable differnecne to my hair or nails.
