Where abouts in the chest..?

It sounds like a soft-tissue injury. If you were to go to a doctor, there isn't alot they could do, but I suppose it would be worth a check-up?

emm just kinda above the heart
Could be a stress/hairline fracture... But is more likely to be soft-tissue strain or bruising. I know it is very unconfertable.

If you wish to go to the doctors, you can do....

Like I said, the most they could probably do is reassure you and possibly prescribe painkillers.

Hope it gets better soon :)

but have not gone to doctors before when i reallly should have so was just gonna go today to see what they say.
Lol.

Well good luck and feel free to let me know how you got on :)
Question Author
yeah will post later/possibly tomorrow on what they say!

thank you for advice though.
Okie dokie.

No problem - any time :)
have an xray.
You can't just demand an x-ray. That's down to the doctors....
I agree with one-big-letdown.

i'd also just like to say...

OOOOOWWWWWWW!!!- i just bloody sneezed! one of the most painful things I can do just now!!
That's right, typical of costo-chondral ( joint between breastbone and ribs) damage and soft tissue damage as described by one-big.letdown.
Question Author
so yes or no sqad should i go to walk in centre or is it waste of time?

thank you
My opinion hasn't changed...take Ibuprofen and monitor the situation for a couple of days.
Question Author
thanks sqad and sorry my last question sounded realy abrupt!! was not meant to come across like that just confused as to what i should do!

I want to be back playing footie asap! and its really frustrating
Sherminator......no offence taken.

Football eh? Well, you could go into a "walk in centre" and tactfully ask if you could have an injection around the painful area. This MAY be O.K if there is one tender point.
Question Author
i have arranged half hour off work now so its final! goin to walk in centre and will see what they say!

thank you all
Thanks for your backup Squad, and good luck again sherminator. Well, all the best as may be more appropriate lol
Question Author
