What do you think of your age?

Why is it considered rude to ask someone their age?
why are people often ashamed of their age?

I'm 52 years old, I'm not proud of it, I'm not ashamed of it, I think I look my age, some have said I look younger, people generally don't tell you if you look older, but I'm not really bothered either way.

I don't understand all this secrecy surrounding peoples age.

I'm 54 and I know i don't look it - apart from my hiar loss, but that is less of an indication of age than it used to be.

I am perfectly comfortable in my skin, but, as the saying goes, if I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have looked after myself better!

I'll be the big 60 in a few months time! don't care who knows it!...............I feel about 25 inside, but have to say that I do get more tired these days! can't understand why!!Don't think I look my age! Well I'm told not anyway, and certainly don't intend to grow old gracefully!............Boring!...............

Getting old is fine, especially when you view the alternative. Once read somewhere that getting old is like serving time in prison for a crime you didn't commit.

I have "hair loss" in the form of a number one all over, ie a "bed n breakfast" half bald

Thinking you can do now what you did when you were 20 years younger is frustrating
im 54 now but still feel young , till the aches and pains set it when trying to move heavy things

I turned 27 today and I hate the fact I am getting older. If asked I would probably say 23!

When I was 19 I thought my older sister at 25 was old ; now at nearly 77 my friend at 87 looks old ! me ,well I was ok with my age until 70ish when I finally realised I was old .All in the mind! and in the aching bones LOL

I am like a lot of people...brain hasn't kept up with body find myself ogling young people have to top myself,, think I am still invinceable until later when I am heading for the bathroom and looking for the radox instead of the bath oil..
Side effect of ageing I do like though.......................................

I think I would like to stay just as I am now at 58. I look pretty good and feel comfortable about myself. I dont mind people knowing. Some people at work say they hope they look as good as me when they are my age. My OH is 60 soon and definately doesnt look it. Some people a lot younger look older than him
