What do you think of your age?
51 Answers
Why is it considered rude to ask someone their age?
why are people often ashamed of their age?
I'm 52 years old, I'm not proud of it, I'm not ashamed of it, I think I look my age, some have said I look younger, people generally don't tell you if you look older, but I'm not really bothered either way.
I don't understand all this secrecy surrounding peoples age.

Im 35, I think I look it, I feel happy in my skin, Im not too bothered to be honest, when I was in my 20s I dreaded getting older (I think that feeling crops up in your late 20's when you suddenly realise you are hitting a milestone soon)
at my age I dont give two shiny sh!tes ;)

I liked reaching 30, I felt like I'd achieved something in a way if that doesn't sound strange? I can't say I'm where I'd have imagined I'd have been but that's ok with me as there are so many things which make up for not having what society appears to think I should have by now.
People tend to think I'm younger which can be interesting, especially in my career, but I let it amuse me more than anything, it doesn't bug me. I find it flattering, still getting ID'd at 31 (on my 31st birthday was the best!).
I find it quite strange even though I don't feel my age but nice strange. I let the people IDing me guess sometimes before I hand over my ID with a smile, had 23 last week so big smile for him!
I also don't get the obsession so much with botox and such. A younger friend of mine already has it planned and it saddens me, lines are a sign of character, a live lived and all that. I'm all for looking after yourself if you want to but it's a shame there is a constant pressure to hide your real age.
