Tripped on the carpet. Tried to stop myself and caught my finger on the bannister...or more like the spindles.
I can move it when my hands are facing forward....but if I turn them to the side (like a politician) it just drops down. It hurt when I done it but now it's gone numb...
It's a little bit swollen but nothing like when I've broken bones before....so I presume it's not broken.
Ummm - do you have a local walk-in centre? - if you do, nip along now, just so they can take a look at it. ( I emulate to be as helpful as my mate ttfn today!)
If it is dislocated then it may need to be popped back into the right position before it is immobilised. I also advise a trip to the walk in centre or hospital.
Carakeel was told by her consultant that if they had x rayed it when she first went to casualty they could have sorted her finger without the need for an operation!!
Off he goes..........
We had better `Watch this space `
I bent my right thumb back whilst trying to stop myself falling. That was about 3 yrs ago and its still painful. I had to wear a support around it for about a month.
Hope to hear that its not too bad when you get back ummmm
