I had a small one on my neck... just pulled it off. They bleed a lot. Or tie a bit of cotton around it at the base, removing the blood supply: it will shrivel and drop off.
Use a hair.........form a 'hangmans-loop', tighten it over base of skin tag, trim hair and hey-presto! tag is gone in very short order without you having to wander around with random bits of string attached to your person. :o)
I researched this on google a while ago as i have some on my neck. It came up with these.
1) apple cider vinegar on cotton wool kept in place each night
2)mix baking soda & castor oil - apply 3x daily
3) tea tree oil 3x daily
4) this is the one that worked for me - Nail Varnish - I applied a dab on the tag several times and hey presto it worked. Not sure how, maybe the same as cotton it starves the tag. I used natural looking polish so it wouldn't show but then mine were visible on my neck.
Hope this helps.
ive never heard of that one sogudsam but i think i'll try that. Like you bernie ive got one on the inside of my thing, it doesnt bother me as such just looks unsightly. My last skin tag i has cauterised off at the docs but it was sore for a few days so im gonna try the nail varnish thingy
I think everyone's said it all, but I have tied a thin cotton round one of mine in the past, once the blood supply is gone you can cut it off, put a plaster on to stop infection.
Here's what you do:
Twist it one way three times. Then twist it the other way three times. By doing this you will have cut off the blood supply at the base of the stem. It may hurt the following day- this is normal; put a plaster over it and forget about it! In 3 days time the tag will have turned black, shrunk and dried up. It will then fall off. I've had a few and got rid of them for good this way!
I had one one my neck.
It annoyed me.
I gripped it tight with a pair of pliers, and ripped it off as hard as I could.
It bled and hurt, but not for long.
