how do you know if he likes you?

I always seem to go for the wrong people! They're always my brothers friends, how bad is that? He just has good looking friends i suppose! Anyway this particular one is only 4 years older than me (is that wrong?) and we see each other pretty much every week because he plays rugby with my brother so i go to watch their games with the family. I don't think he's that good looking, he's not ugly though, and he's not my usual type but there's just something about him, i don't know what it is but it draws me in. anyway wihout sounding like a gimp which i'm sure i already do.. i don't know if it's me being hopeful or if it really is happening but the past two weeks he looks over at me but i just can't look at him! when i see him looking at me i just look away again because.. i don't actually know why. anywaaaaay give me signs to find out if someone likes you!!! please!

sophie, from one sophie (myself) to another. im 19 and my boyfreind is 26. everything you just said is exactly what i had at the start of my relationship. plus the fact that i just dont date. period. my bf is not my type at all, i like the heavily tattooed into his rock metal music with long hair type of guy.
my boyfriend shaves his head, no tattoos, likes the music i hate but there was just something about him that i was drawn to, as are you.

i think you should go on a few dates and see what happens. if he likes you, he will ask you! if he doesnt then there will be someone that does!

Yeah umm I'm still pretty young(but mature!)... I'm 15 he's 19, don;t think my mum would be too happy if i dated him! We dont even know each other, we just know of each other and see each other every week.. i don't know how to get the ball rolling or if this is just a crush?! hahaha. i'm always so serious with things like this but i guess thats what its all about me being 15 and all.. ?!
Sophie it probably is a crush but so what? it's important to you. Just be yourself, friendly and see how things go - you can't force anything or make things happen. Maybe he likes you or maybe he just thinks of you as his friend's little sister - whatever, treat him in a friendly manner and see what happens but don't throw yourself at him! - good luck
This is a really difficult question. I have done great mistakes when I thought that somebody was giving me the signs that she likes me. Take care and don't harry up.
