I'm in pain, taken a couple of Paracetamol waiting for em to kick in. Its all so stupid really, having a shower and ran out of shower gel, a new one on top shelf of shower cubical, reached up for it, It slips out of my hand & crashes down on my right big toe. (I swore) considering the hight it fell from and it being a large full bottle it was like someone hitting my toe with a 3lb hammer.
Hit right on the toenail and its now swelling and turning purple and throbbing like hell.

Are you in pain right now? what is causing yours?

No more than usual...
I'm a pain in the arse
Poor you Jem - toes can hurt an awful lot. I remember once seeing some poor soul in Sainsbury's drop a can of soup on her foot. She screamed and passed out - blood flowed quite well too. It made me take great care when lifting certain items from shelves. I have a touch of sciatica at the moment but it is retreating, I hope. Cognac is so much nicer than pain killers. Wish you better soonest.
Ouch Jem, that sounds sore hun, am in some pain most of the time but no more than usual today.

Feel better soon.
Strewth Jem those 3 faces ^^^ (incl mine) remind me of a ballot paper :o)
Mamya - you got in the way there dear - sorry!
Yep....I have belly cramps. They should be ok tomorrow...

Stubbed my toe a few weeks back on a slate tile. Lot's of blood from under the nail. It's ok now but it's falling off :-(
Oh nasty Jem, hope it feels better soon!..........
Hiya Jem - that sounds painful. Put an ice pack on it or Arnica (if you have any).

I dropped my new Next catalogue on my foot yesterday - its 3 catalogues in one cardboard box, so its bloody heavy. I put Arnica Gel on my foot and it takes the bruising out straight away.
keep it cool and raise it
The smallest things are the most painful.

I remember reaching down to pick an empty mug up from the floor a few years ago. I wasn't looking closely and the rim of the mug caught under one of my middle finger nails as my hand went down. I heard the crack and knew what had happened - the nail was bent up at a right angle to the finger! All I could do was grab the nail quickly so I didn't have time to think and rip it off!

It wasn't especially painful but it was a shock and I am squeamish!
Ouch!...I can feel that...poor you!
My knees are always a bit creaky-but it's my right foot giving me grief lately. Googling has told me it is 'metatarsalgia'...all part of age and spending time on my feet...and it hurts like hell sometimes.... :-((
Andy...that made me feel sick....
Shall I tell you about when I had my big toe nail removed ummmm?
Noooooooo feck off....!!!
It made my legs go all funny when I heard the crack Ummmm and it does thinking about it now. I knew what it was and I had to shut my eyes and then squint before I could look to confirm what I'd done!
Then there was the time I slammed th 4" thick heavy safe door on my hand - lost 2 finger nails - no victory signs were made for ages :o(
It's nails....it's the thought of hurting nails that makes me go queezy...

I had a needle straight through my toe once. That didn't hurt because it was so quick. The injections they gave after me were horrendously painful...
Did the same with a car seat in a Mini once ttfn. Slid the seat back and got my fingers stuck in the catch under the seat. I then had to slide the seat forward to release them! Now that was painful! I bought the car though.
Teef...............
Woke me up :o(
