If you think about it, the very ends of your hair are the oldest so they are more likely to go dry, break or split if not well looked after. I use John Frieda Frizz Eaze serum which works well for me, but regular trims are essential to keep hair in good shape and to take off the horrible dry ends.
Use a protective spray, although it doesn't completely stop splitting it does help or at least that's what I have found. I was using expensive GHD iron oil spray (approx �14.00) but have found that Tresemme protection spray just as good if not better. Only costs about �4.00, last ages & ages and smells fab.
