Angry Ex Boyfriend

Hi all

I split up with my boyfriend in mid Feb. The relationship wasn't working out. He ended it and within two minutes was dating someone else. However he keeps turning up with his new girlfriend at places where he knows I'll be, it's almost like he's rubbing my nose in it.

Today I was waiting to cross the road at traffic lights and he pulled up shouting abuse (out of the blue) saying things such as in really happy and I'm going to get married and invite you to my wedding.

All very odd and unkind.

Why is he being like this??

I'm not sure if he's getting married now or he's just saying that he will at some point. Difficult to tell the specifics when somebody is spitting feathers at you.

I just don't get what the point of being angry is other than to push me away further

The best way to respond to people like this is to agree with them.

"I'm going to get married and invite you to my wedding"

"Oh, that's nice. I'm glad you've found somebody else."

It takes the wind out of their sails.
